Triage Policy
At Harris Academy Beulah, our mission is to ensure every student succeeds and engages fully in their education. To achieve this, we operate a Behaviour Triage System that unites four key pastoral areas: Behaviour, Attendance, Special Educational Needs (SEND), and Safeguarding.
This system acts as a proactive task force designed to prevent issues, intervene early, and support students so they can meet the high standards we set. Guided by our ethos, we believe in having the Courage to Challenge each individual, while identifying their needs so they can Succeed in achieving their life goals.
Every fortnight, our triage system reviews students against set thresholds. Each student is scored in the four BASS areas and placed on one of three stages. Each stage has clear actions that our pastoral team implements to improve outcomes.
We believe in strategic intervention, always placing the student at the heart of our decisions to ensure maximum impact.
