MFL French
"With languages, you are at home anywhere."
-- Edward De Waal
Why We Study MFL
Learning languages is an open road to the world. Through language we promote pupils’ curiosity and deepen their understanding of different countries’ history, literature, arts; we challenge pupils to consider their own identity and place in the world. Languages allow students to express their ideas and thoughts, to understand and respond to its speakers, develop their linguistic skills and understand grammatical structures which better prepares them for a globalised world of work.
