Welcome to the Transition page for Harris Academy Beulah Hill

 

The principal and staff of Harris Academy Beulah Hill look forward each year to welcoming Year 7 to their new secondary school experience.  

Our Academy provides a high-quality curriculum and has high expectations of all students. 

Please spend some time visiting the relevant page for each site to get an idea of how we do things here at Harris Academy Beulah Hill. We aim to develop students into Scholarly, Aspirational, Compassionate individuals by the end of their time with us. This is so they are well prepared to make a meaningful contribution to society. 

To make the transition from Primary school to secondary school easier, we aim to invite our feeder primary schools in to experience different subjects.  

In July 2023, Rockmount Primary school visited us and took part in cooking, art and DT sessions. They made some delicious chocolate chip cookies and had an egg drop competition.

If you are a Year 6 student starting with us in September, your teachers have invested a lot of time and effort into preparing an introductory video as well as Taster lessons. These are just snippets of the broad and balanced curriculum we offer. These are located just below
